We contain it and stop the damage. That is mitigation.
Containment goes up first so the rest of the building stays open: the wing closes, the school does not. Standing water pumped and extracted, wet carpet out, walls opened where the meter says they are wet, air movers and dehumidifiers running before we leave the first visit. After a fire, board-up, tarping and a first pass on the soot so it stops etching the surfaces.
Everything is photographed before it moves. Moisture readings are taken room by room and mapped on day one, and you have the written scope in your email before the first wall comes down, in time for the board meeting.

Readings until the meter, not a guess, says the structure is dry. Mold is removed under plastic containment with HEPA air scrubbers and cleared before the containment comes down. Noisy work goes after hours or into a break week where it can.
Then the building goes back: drywall, ceilings, trim, paint, floors, cabinets, and the roof over it if the roof is where the water got in. We walk the finished rooms with you before we call it done, and the rooms are back in use on the date we gave you.

Water damage restoration
A supply line that let go over a weekend, a sump pump that quit under a community center, sprinkler heads, a water heater in a church kitchen, a roof drain that backed up over a gym. Reconstruction and capital improvements

We photograph and document the damage, take moisture readings and map them, write an itemized Xactimate estimate, and give your insurer the records it asks for. We can meet your adjuster on site to walk the damage and explain our scope. Coverage decisions and the claim settlement stay between you and your insurer. We are not public adjusters. Your deductible is your responsibility and cannot be waived.
